Zone 24 Landscaping Honored as 1ST PLACE Winner in Statewide Landscaping Awards Program.
Zone 24 Landscaping & Garden Care has been named as the 2006 first-place award recipient by the California Landscape Contractors Association for Medium Commercial Landscape Maintenance - Under Five-Year-Old Project. The award, sponsored by BEST Fertilizer, was announced November 17, 2006 during CLCA's prestigious Trophy Awards presentation at the association's annual convention in Kauai, Hawaii.
Zone 24 Landscaping, a San Pedro landscape contracting firm, won the award for its exceptional work earlier this year on the 30,000 square-foot Pioneer Boulevard Medians in the City of Artesia.
Trophy Awards recipients are chosen by a panel of independent judges based on best-in-state criteria promoting excellence and encouraging interest in landscaping. The association recognizes those individuals and companies who produce outstanding landscapes and create pride in superior workmanship, and bestows public recognition on companies, municipalities and residents for their participation in creating a more beautiful California.
The California Landscape Contractors Association is a nonprofit trade organization of state licensed landscape and landscape-related limited specialty contractors. CLCA's membership, which totals approximately 3,500 individual members, includes suppliers to contractors, landscape architects, educators, public officials, and students.
